Each May, National Speech-Language-Hearing Month allows individuals to raise awareness about communication disorders and the role Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists play in providing life-changing services.
Join Hearts for Hearing as we celebrate National Speech-Language-Hearing Month!
Raise Awareness
Raise awareness of the outcomes possible for children with hearing loss by posting on social media, talking with family and friends, and sharing patient stories.
Hear first hand about the role Hearts for Hearing plays in the lives of patients and their unique journeys toward listening and spoken language. Keep checking back throughout the month of May as we continue to share stories and testimonies from Hearts for Hearing patients and families.
As noted during National Speech-Language-Hearing Month, “Communication is the essence of human connection—giving everyone a voice ensures no story goes unheard and no potential remains untapped.”
For over 20 years, Hearts for Hearing has been making a difference in the lives of individuals with hearing loss.
We believe the cost of hearing aids should never stop a child from learning to listen and talk. That’s why our Foundation gives Oklahoma babies and children (up to 18 years) their first set of hearing aids for free in addition to covering all out of pocket costs for services for those under 3 years of age. Proceeds made in our adult clinics directly support children with hearing loss.
