  • Provides temporary assistance to children five and younger in the Tulsa area. They provide food, formula, clothing, diapers, and other children items. Families can meet up to four times a year. On Tuesday, a callback will occur. You must talk with the receptionist to obtain an appointment time. A callback is not confirmation of an appointment. It is a first call, first serve program. If you do not receive a call, the schedule is full. Please try the following week to make an appointment. Appointments only occur on Wednesdays.  

  • Food Pantry—provides 7 days’ worth of food for the household. Emergency groceries are available Monday through Thursday from 1:00-4:00. Guest can walk-in without an appointment for emergency groceries.  
  • Clothing and Home Goods—guest can take home 2 outfits of clothing per household and possibly some household goods depending on circumstances.  
  • Utility Assistance—can contribute up to $50.00 in the form of utility bill payments if their utilities are about to be cut off. The bill must show “Disconnect Notice”. Will help link guest to other services that could help get the balanced paid.  
  • Transportation—when guests who have a confirmed job interview or medical appointment, bus tokens can be handed out. Appointments will be verified before assistance is given. 
  • Infant Services—provides diapers, blankets, clothing, and other necessities for infants up to age three.  
  • Vision Care—guests are offered a voucher for an appointment with a local optometrist when the guest qualifies as having poor vision. Guest can select available frames through the program and receive a new pair of prescription glasses.

  • Sia Mah Nu—Burmese Community Peer Educator Program that is designed to support Burmese women living in Tulsa. Peer leaders engage with families to help them navigate different health and education systems. Offers 12 weeks of health classes for the participants to help them enhance their knowledge on health, parenting, child development, and navigate the school system. At Jenks Public School, there are two after school program. However, they are currently on hold due to COVID. The after-school program teaches English Speaking children the Zopau language and customs of the Burmese culture to promote cultural understand.   • Healthy Start—focuses on health outcomes to reduce infant mortality and maternal morbidity/mortality. Works with expectant mothers and their families before, during and after pregnancy. During the pregnancy, the team will work with the family to create a plan of care to help enhance a healthy delivery. After the baby is born, the team will stay with the family for up to two years to help connect the family with resources. Their fatherhood program works to improve the parent-child relationship by strengthen the role of the father. Any father figure is welcomed; it does not have to be the biological father.  
  • Oklahoma Veterans Alliance/Supportive Services for Veteran families (SSVF)*—support for veterans by connecting them to the right providers for help through a system that links veterans to qualified providers, connecting with employers who work with veterans, mentoring relationship between veterans.   • Optical Clinic—provides eye exams, and glasses for adults and children.  
  • Dispensary—provides prescription screening and prescriptions and vouchers for outside purchases. Does not assist with narcotics, psychiatric drugs or select expensive medications. 
  • Dental—provides acute and restorative services such as cleanings for children and adults. Provides emergency extractions, oral surgery, and dentures.

  • Oklahoma Veterans Alliance/Supportive Services for Veteran families (SSVF)*—support for veterans by connecting them to the right providers for help through a system that links veterans to qualified providers, connecting with employers who work with veterans, mentoring relationship between veterans.   • Sexual Health Awareness—evidence-based curricula that empowers youth to avoid high-risk behaviors, prevent pregnancy and STDs. Abstinence based curriculum is used for younger adolescents with a more comprehensive training for older youth. 
  • Health Services—assisting at risk youth access to medical care through an on-site clinic operated by the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine. 
  • Individual and Family Counseling/Substance Abuse counseling—available for youth ages 12-18. Services can be in either Spanish or English. Fees are income-based sliding scale, and no one is every turned away due to inability to pay. Services are in Tulsa, Owasso, Broken Arrow, and Glenpool.

  • Food Pantry—provides local families with a monthly distribution of perishable and nonperishable foods, toiletries, and baby care items. Provides home delivery services for clients who have medical needs or transportation issues who are unable to come to the clinic. Holiday meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas is also provided for these families. For children, they partner with the local schools for Kids Break Boxes where children can receive a voucher to receive food boxes. In the summer, children can receive a food bag for them when their parents come for services.  
  • Backpack Program—each child who is a client can receive a new backpack with school supplies being delivered to the child’s school.

  • Shelter—provide safe and supportive environment to women, men, and their children escaping domestic violence and/or sexual assault. At the shelter, residents are offered safe shelter, meals, hygiene needs, case management support, assistance with transportation needs, and counseling for adults and children.

If accepted into the program, an attorney will be assigned to represent you in your protective order and/or family law case.   • Food—eligible clients can receive food up to once per month. Food Pantry Hours are Monday 1:30-3:30; Tuesday 1:30-3:30; Wednesday 4:30-5:45; Thursday 1:30-3:30 and 4:30-5:45. Bring photo ID, proof of address, social security card for each member, proof of Food Stamps, proof of income or proof of no income. Prior to COVID cooking classes were being offered. Please check with website to see if/when classes will resume. 
  • Medical Clinic—treats acute and chronic conditions. Referrals options for some lab testing and specialty care, prescriptions free of charge when samples available, only for those with no health insurance. Operates on a number draw system. Monday evening starting at 5:15; Tuesday morning at 9:30am at the OSU clinic; Wednesday mornings at 9:30. Call to make an appointment. For dental Services call to schedule an appointment.
  • Literacy and Development Program—helps you prepare for your GED. You will need internet access and a commitment to studying about 5 hours per week. To prepare for the test it is free of cost. The official test itself is $100. However, there is a scholarship program to help accommodate students who cannot cover the cost themselves.   • Academic tutoring—free, one-on-one tutoring for students of all ages and grades. 
  • Computer lab—free internet access to search for jobs, fill out applications, write resumes, and check email. 
  • Career Services—workshops that can assist with improving job outlook and employability. 
  • Computer basics class—online computer class that teaches about the Windows operating system and how to create an email account for job searches. Currently on hold due to COVID. Please refer to website to see if/when class will restart.

  • SoonerCare program that allows children with disabilities to be cared for in their homes. It is based on the child’s income not the family’s income to determine eligibility. The child must be under the age of 19, an Oklahoma resident, a citizen, meet the Social Security Administration definition of a disability, meet a certain income standard, be safely cared of at home, and have a cost for home care that is less than it would to be placed in an institution.

After the baby is born, the team will stay with the family for up to two years to help connect the family with resources.
