Has a variety of programs that can assist families. Several programs have bilingual support. Catholic Charities has a couple of locations throughout Oklahoma.
Emergency Rent and Utilities—they may also be able to assist with bus passes, diaper assistance, snack packs, and other resources in addition to rent and utilities assistance.
Family HOPE Case Management—strives to help improve the economic situation and social support of families. This is not an emergency assistance program, but one that helps family reach and maintain self-sufficiency. Offers transitional housing as well as disaster relief recovery.
Immigration Legal Services—schedule a consolation to see if the legal team can assist (405-523-3001). If they can help, they are able to provide direct legal services to low-income immigrants. Hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00-4:30. Closed for lunch 12:00-1:00.
Refugee Services—assist newly arrived refugees in finding safety, stability, self-sufficiency, and integration into a new community. May be able to assist refugees with education services and employment services.
Housing—for senior citizens and for those who may require housing support in the city of Lawton.
Sanctuary Women’s Development—offering low-income and homeless women and children resources and support to help alleviate the effects of poverty. Has a food and hygiene pantry. The Holy Family Home provides supportive residential care and community-based services. Residents must be referred by a case manager or advocate.
Adoption and Pregnancy Services—offering pregnancy support, transportation to appointments, goal planning, assistance with baby items and food. Support if a birth mother is deciding the option of adoption.

Baby Pantry—offers families of Cleveland County emergency diaper supplies. Families may come in twice a month Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00 to receive diapers and baby wipes. Located at the corner of South Cockrel Ave and East Eufaula Street in Norman. Please call 405-364-1420 to verify that they have diapers in their inventory and be ready when you arrive.
Bringing Up Babies—a free voluntary program offered to pregnant and parenting individuals, including teen parents. Topics focused on are pregnancy and childbirth readiness, early childhood literacy and learning, feeding options, children development, sleep struggles, ect.
Divorce and Co-Parenting Services—designed to help couples going through a divorce to create a loving a nurturing environment for their children. Meet requirements for House Bill 2249 which requires parents who are divorcing for reason of incompatibility and have children under 18 to attend an educational program. Call (405-364-1420) or go online for enrollment information. Cost is $50.
Children In the Middle Class—provide valuable skills for parents who are in high conflict situations and designed to help parents communicate with each other and establish a functional family environment for their children. Free of charge. Call 405-364-1433 for more information about enrollment.
Parent Assistance Programs—helps parents create and sustain healthy relationships with their children. Total of three different parent education groups: Respectfully Connected, Live Your Best Life; and Parenting Through Trauma. To participate, parents must be referred by DHS or have an active DHS case.
Counseling—specializes in working with infants and their caregivers, children, and teens, ages 0-17. Call 405-364-1240 for more information.

Offers emergency short-term care for children in times of crisis. Established to prevent children from being exposed to violence, stressful situations, or any other circumstances that can lead to child abuse or neglect. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to caring for children, they equip families with necessities during emergency situations such as clothing, diapers, formula, car seats, and other necessities. Call the number to see if there is an opening because space is limited. There is a quick intake process to help determine how long the child will need to stay at the nursery. If you need longer than a day, they will have other resources and options for you.

Kids Club—for children ages Pre-K to 13. Meets Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2:30-4:30 and Thursday from 3:30-5:30. Children will learn social and emotional skills through curriculum and playtime.
Youth Club—Thursday mornings (Brunch Bunch) meets from 10:00-12:00. Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00. A place where teens can gather, give back to the community, and learn some life-skills.
Hope Center—a space for children in south Oklahoma City who needs assistance with virtual learning. Mentoring, mental health services, feeding programs, and other support services are provided at the Hope Center. Located at St. Luke’s Asbury United Methodist Church.
Parent Club—a parent peer support group that meets for 13 weeks that helps parents identify 40 developmental assets children need to be successful. Provided in both Spanish and English.

Style Shop—retail shop opened Monday-Thursday 9:00-2:00 and Friday 9:00-12:00. Items range in price from $1-5 each. Only accepting cash payments at this time. Anyone experiencing an emergency situation may bring in a referral from a case manager, counselor, or social service worker and receive 10 free items for each household members. During the school year, for low-income families who have students in pre-K through 12th grade may receive two new sets of school uniforms plus underwear, socks, and a new pair of shoes.
Food Resource Center—Monday 1:00-6:00; Tuesday 10:30-2:00; Wednesday 1:00-4:00; Thursday 10:30-2:00; Friday 9:00-12:00. Mobile Pantry available to serve the homeless, those living out on the streets, and those that live in the metro without easy access to a store. Dates vary for Mobile Pantry. First time patrons must bring a photo id, recent utility bill or lease with current address, and form of id for each member of the household. Returning patron will bring a form of id and a return date card provided by Skyline. Assistance can occur every 30 days.

It is important to follow the appointment procedure because if it is not followed, it will take another 2 year to schedule an eye appointment with them.

Anyone experiencing an emergency situation may bring in a referral from a case manager, counselor, or social service worker and receive 10 free items for each household members. During the school year, for low-income families who have students in pre-K through 12th grade may receive two new sets of school uniforms plus underwear, socks, and a new pair of shoes.
Food Resource Center—Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:45pm. Mobile Pantry available to serve the homeless, those living out on the streets, and those that live in the metro without easy access to a store. Dates vary for Mobile Pantry. Food pantry is a drive thru. First time patrons must bring a photo id, recent utility bill or lease with current address, and form of id for each member of the household. Returning patron will bring a form of id and a return date card provided by Skyline. Assistance can occur every 30 days.

A SoonerCare program that allows children with disabilities to be cared for in their homes. It is based on the child’s income not the family’s income to determine eligibility. It allows children with physical or mental disabilities to have Medicaid benefits available to them when they would not ordinarily be eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) because their parent’s income or resources are too high. The child must be under the age of 19, an Oklahoma resident, a US citizen, meet the Social Security Administration definition of a disability, meet a certain income standard, be safely cared of at home, and have a cost for home care that is less than it would to be placed in an institution.
Some of the service cost can include, dental care, early and periodic screening, diagnostic, and treatment, medical equipment, pharmacy, physical/occupational therapy, and much more.

A Nurse-Family partnership that offers home-based services to mother’s expecting their first child. The nurse works with the mother in order to increase her chances of a healthy delivery and education the mother on child safety and child development.

ReStart Program—classes that help support and guide single parents in raising their children.
Mom and son leadership conference—designed to address issues that single moms face in raising boys. Can also help boys deal with issues that are facing without leadership of a dad in the home.
Divorce education/Co-Parenting—designed to help couples going through a divorce to create a loving a nurturing environment for their children. Meet requirements for House Bill 2249 which requires parents how are divorcing for reason of incompatibility who have children under 18 to attend an educational program. Cost is $39.95 (includes meal) or $49.95 (meal and childcare included).

Has three professional components designed to interface to provide a continuum of services to build healthy family relationships and enhance child development. Services are available to families of children birth up to age 13. Services are covered under Sooner Care and on a sliding scale based on income and number of household members. Services include behavioral health services, childhood development and parent education services and speech language services. Services are offered in 16 counties. Check with your local county health department for these services. The program works closely with mandated programs such as SoonerStart and the public school.

Baby Pantry—offers families of Cleveland County emergency diaper supplies. Families may come in twice a month Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00 to receive diapers and baby wipes. Bringing Up Babies—a free voluntary program offered to pregnant and parenting individuals, including teen parents. Topics focused on are pregnancy and childbirth readiness, early childhood literacy and learning, feeding options, children development, sleep struggles, ect.

Parent Assistance Programs—helps parents create and substance healthy relationships with their children. Total of three different parent education groups: Respectfully Connected, Live Your Best Life; and Parenting Through Trauma. To participate, parents must be referred by DHS or have an active DHS case.
Counseling—specializes in working with infants and their caregivers, children, and teens, ages 0-17. Call 405-364-1240 for more information.
