POSITION OVERVIEW:
The IT Technician will assist in the maintenance and support of all company computer and technology resources. They will manage and maintain computers, servers, networks, and communication systems throughout the enterprise.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct user support to all employees for accounts and access
- Monitor continuous backups
- Monitor network outages
- Coordinate with vendors when experiencing hardware or communications outages
- Manage Microsoft Teams Voice accounts and configurations
- Manage Microsoft 365 accounts and configurations, including synchronization between premise and M365 platforms
- Manage Windows Server Active Directory accounts
- Manage software and security updates to ensure currency
- Maintain equipment inventory for all sites
- Stay on top of trends and developments.
- Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as IT technician
- Excellent communications and people skills
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field preferred
