Dr. Sara Neumann

Manager of Audiology Research, AuD, CCC-A


Sara Neumann, Au.D., is an audiologist who also serves as Manager of Audiology Research at Hearts for Hearing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma since 2013. She specializes in pediatric audiology and cochlear implants for children and adults and has also participated in several research studies evaluating clinically relevant outcomes with different hearing technologies. She has co-authored several articles and textbook chapters with Jace Wolfe, Ph.D. on pediatric amplification, implantable hearing devices, and cochlear implant programming. Dr. Neumann also specializes in hearing conservation programs in music education including drum and bugle corps and marching bands. She currently consults as the audiologist for Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. She enjoys traveling and presenting research findings and outcomes from Hearts for Hearing.  She has a B.S. in Deaf Education from Northern Illinois University (2003), serving as a deaf educator for six years. She obtained her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from Illinois State University in 2012. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner, Jeff and her two ragdoll cats. She also enjoys crocheting and paddleboarding.
