Negeen Sobhani, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist with a professional background and studies in English Education, Teaching English as a Second Language, and Journalism – Photographic Arts. Her experience and education in various fields of communication provide a foundation for her work in helping children develop speech and language. Her particular interest in listening and spoken language stems from being a mother of a child with profound hearing loss who has gained the ability to listen and speak through auditory verbal therapy at Hearts for Hearing. While a native Oklahoman, Negeen is fluent in three languages and spent over a decade living abroad on two continents where she honed her communication and language skills in an international work setting with people from around the world.
Negeen draws from her life experience raising a child with hearing loss and working in culturally diverse settings when supporting parents of various backgrounds navigate the journey of their children’s hearing loss and coaching them on cultivating language-rich opportunities in which listening and spoken language can flourish.
