Lauren Henry

Speech-Language Pathologist, M.A., CCC-SLP

Lauren Henry is a Speech-Language Pathologist at Hearts for Hearing.  Lauren earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Oklahoma and earned her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Lauren began her journey with Hearts for Hearing as a volunteer for their annual summer camp during her undergraduate and graduate studies.  It was through volunteering at summer camp that she developed a passion for Hearts for Hearing and a desire to become a listening and spoken language specialist. After her internship with Hearts for Hearing as a graduate student, Lauren was hired on full-time following graduation in 2016.  Lauren earned her certificate of clinical competence (CCCs) in speech-language pathology in April of 2017.

Lauren has additional experience working with school-age children in the public school setting.  She enjoys connecting with families and providing them tools to encourage growth in speech, language, and listening.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys walks, playing tennis, and outdoor events when the weather is nice.  She loves to travel, explore, and spend time with family and friends.
