Dr. Emily Mills is an audiologist and the Manager of Internal Audiology Services, serving both pediatric and adult patients at Hearts for Hearing. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2012 and Doctorate in Audiology in 2016 from the University of Oklahoma. She is clinically certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA). While attaining her degrees, she volunteered at the annual Hearts for Hearing summer camps and was a part-time hearing screener for Oklahoma County Head Start. She was fortunate to participate as an assistant to Dr. Jace Wolfe in research related to telephone use with hearing aids and remote microphone technology. Dr. Mills completed her fourth-year externship at Hearts for Hearing. Her professional interests include implantable technologies, bone conduction hearing devices, hearing aids and auditory processing disorder. Friends and colleagues have labeled Emily an Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball “fanatic” as she avidly follows the games, athletes and NBA league. Her other interests include fitness (barre and yoga), hiking and camping in the National Parks with her brothers, and playing with her family dog, a golden retriever named Scout.
