Marketing & Communications Coordinator – OKC or Tulsa

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and coordinating marketing and communications activities to promote strategic growth of services, increase positive public profile, and strengthen meaningful engagement among stakeholders connected to our organization. This position will be an integral and valued marketing team member operating within a collaborative External Affairs division. In addition, this position will interact with our professional media agency of record.

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will help ensure all marketing messaging and materials offer an excellent, authentic voice consistent with our organization’s mission, vision, guiding values, and recognized brand standards.

Marketing & Communications Strategist


  • Execute all digital marketing and social media activity; building, posting, seeking approval, monitoring results
  • Become a super user of all social media management platforms and tools employed by our department – offer ideas, strategic thinking, and best practice solutions
  • Manage platform messaging and schedules
  • Manage stakeholder lists
  • Monitor and respond as necessary to Reviews as part of General Reputation Management
  • Manage Internal Public Area Screen Content
  • Order Business Cards and Other Approved Giveaway Items
  • Manage and monitor activity associated with organization’s sanctioned Closed Facebook Groups
  • Assist with, Manage, and Monitor Photo/Video Projects
  • Monitor and Help Manage all Public Relations Activities and Events
  • Understand our customers (internal and external) and help establish processes and responses to develop long-term relationships
  • Participate in occasional health fairs and/or conferences
  • Other duties as needed or required by management.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field preferred
  • Proficient in graphic design (Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Proficient use of all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Knowledge of WordPress CMS a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well alongside a team and understand market trends and opportunities
  • Positive role model to fellow employees, supervisors, leadership, customers, and general public
